This is my go to baby shower gift being from the Pittsburgh area! It's unique and the recipients are always excited to read it themselves. It has nice illustrations and includes many landmarks of Pittsburgh. My daughter has had the book for a few years and I like to read it either right before or right after going to one of the landmarks so we can share our memories.
My 1 year old asks to be read this book over and over. It's fun for me as a newcomer to Pittsburgh to recognize some of the fun places we've been able to visit so far and look forward to some others.
We received the Good Night Vermont book as a gift from a friend who lives there. I thought it was cute and started looking up other versions. I live in Pittsburgh and found that there was a version coming out soon. I bought it as soon as it did and I fell in love! I've since bought more as gifts because they are adorable. We also have the North Carolina version. This is a great board book for little ones and has great nostalgia for the areas it covers. I highly recommend...and I will be buying more!
Great children's book that highlights the best family friendly things to do around Pittsburgh. Illustrations are pretty much right on with views of the city skyline. Only complaint is that of the sports teams' representation; the Pirates are left out. A page filled with beautiful PNC Park would've been nice!
This was a gift for a couple having their 1st baby in another state. They loved it!
Cute book! People at the baby shower ohh'ed and ahh'ed over it saying, "It's just like Good Night Moon, but Pittsburgh!! Wish I had one for my kids!" Pittsburgh people love all things Pittsburgh!
Great first book for grandson. I miss Pittsburgh after having lived there all my life.
It was just ... ok. Felt like a little too much branded content. Nobody calls it the PPG Aquarium at Pittsburgh Zoo, and I feel like if I'm trying to teach my daughter words it shouldn't be company names. But maybe they had to if they were to use the places' likeness...I don't know...just seemed a little forced.
